BASKETS: A Basket is a user-defined set of items.

The first time you go to Your Basket, you will need to create a new basket. Create a basket by giving it a name. You will also need to add a topic/category. Click on the basket name to see all records in the basket or to edit the basket settings. To add records to the basket, click "Add to basket" from the brief or detailed view. Select which basket the record should be added to. The records are now saved in your basket.

ALERTS: Registered users can create e-mail alerts about newly created records

From the bottom of the search screen, you can click the link to create a new alert for the current search. You can also create and edit alerts through the Personalization menu by clicking on Your Alerts. The first time you go to Your Alerts, you will need to set a new alert from your searches.

A. To set a new alert based on a previous search click on "Your Searches" under the Personalization tab: Set a new alert by giving it a name. You will also need to select the frequency, if a notification will be sent to you by email and/or result stored in a basket. The alert will now be listed in your alerts and you can see the last time the alert was run. Click on “Execute search” to see all the records returned by the search. Depending on the frequency, the alert notification will include all the new records created with the last day (for daily alerts), week (for weekly alert) or month (for monthly alert). Do not expect the first alert notification to include all the results of the search.

B. Modifying alerts: By clicking on "Modify" you will be able to modify the alert settings but not the search. By clicking on “Remove”, the alert will be deleted immediately.
